Every lintel in this range is a Galintel. Two families are listed: Solid Base angles in two sections, and the Traditional Flat Bar. The table below is taken from the product records themselves, so the sections and lengths are exactly what appears in our catalogue.

Solid Base angle or flat bar
The Solid Base angles are the sections listed for supporting brickwork over windows and doors. They are stocked in 100 × 100 × 6 mm and 150 × 100 × 6 mm, with the longer lengths in the larger section.
The Traditional Flat Bar gives a flat surface and is listed for small clear openings, including windows. It is hot-dip galvanised, as described on the product listing, and comes in 85 × 7 mm in 900 mm and 1000 mm.
Both families are Galintel steel lintels. If a job specifies one and you are unsure which listing matches, send us the section and the opening and we will point you at the right record.
How to specify a lintel

Get the lintel nominated
The lintel is specified by your builder or engineer. Ask them for the family, section, length and quantity, then send us that nomination — we quote the size you are given.

Nominate the section
Solid Base angles are listed in 100 × 100 × 6 mm and 150 × 100 × 6 mm. Traditional Flat Bar is listed in 85 × 7 mm. Give us the section exactly as it appears on your plans or order.

Give the length you need
Listed lengths are 1.2 m, 1.5 m, 1.8 m and 2.1 m for the 100 × 100 × 6, 2.4 m, 2.7 m and 3.0 m for the 150 × 100 × 6, and 900 mm and 1000 mm for the flat bar. A different length can still be asked about.

State the quantity
Send the quantity your builder or engineer has scheduled for the job. We quote the number you nominate and do not work quantities out from plans or openings.

Choose pickup or delivery
Collect from 94 Glossop St, North St Marys, or have the order delivered. For delivery, give the site address or suburb and the date you need it.
We supply lintels; we do not design or certify them. Sizing, bearing, fixing and structural suitability are confirmed by your builder or engineer. Send us the size they nominate and we will quote it as supplied.

Pickup and delivery
Collect from 94 Glossop St, North St Marys NSW 2760, Monday to Friday 6:30am–4:30pm and Saturday 7am–12:30pm. We are closed Sundays.
Lintels are long sections, so bring a vehicle, trailer or racks that suit the lengths you are collecting. Call before you travel and we will confirm what is in the yard for the sizes you need.
Delivery is available across Sydney. Ask about availability for your suburb, quantity and date when you request pricing.

Buying lintels from the yard
Lintels sit in with the rest of the structural steel we sell, so they are usually ordered with mesh, reo or formwork for the same pour. If you are pricing a whole opening — lintel, blocks and mortar — send the list together and we will quote it in one go.
Stock of any particular section or length moves quickly. Confirm the sizes you need before you schedule a delivery date, especially where the length is one we do not hold in depth.
